Our hotel is located in the medieval old town district of Portugalete, at the mouth of the Nervión River estuary and adjacent to the Puente Bizkaia transporter bridge, known locally as the “Puente Colgante” or “hanging bridge”, a unique engineering wonder.

We offer a range of dishes where the prime concern is unconditional respect for and care of the raw materials used. Traditional Basque recipes passed down through generations are given a new twist by the creative vision and expert hand of Zuriñe García and her team.

Our most informal space located in the hotel gastrobar. Try our traditional spoon dishes and amuma recipes that combine contemporary, Basque and Cuban flavors in the purest jarrillero style, watered with a good txakoli and craft beer from our tap station.
